I decided to share some of my favorite resources when it comes to budgeting here. What better resource than knowledgeable people?! I listed three YouTube channels that really helped me get a basic knowledge of budgeting and saving and helped me come out of the constant spending that I was doing. I am still learning more and more so once I have more knowledge, I can give you guys my expertise as well. To check them out, just click on the picture and you’ll be directed to their channel. This blog post is completely my own opinion and in no way sponsored.
Science of Budgeting
Maia runs this channel and I just really appreciate how blunt and real she is in all of her videos. She breaks it down in a way that is easy to understand. I appreciate how she also frequently shows us how she sets up her budgets, sinking funds, and debt payoff methods.
Natalie Jansen
Natalie is also another YouTuber whose videos I just love. Her videos really relate to me because she also has a kid and real-life issues. There are months where she can’t save in each category she has and Natalie gives us a realistic view of how hard saving and budgeting really is while still showing us that it is possible.
Beautifullymeandyou
I just recently started watching this channel and I love how calming it is. These videos are very informative and educational. As she plans her budget, (I am so sorry, I don’t know her name) she talks through everything that she is doing so that we, the viewers, can follow along with our own budgets.
